The Jordanian climate is comfortable throughout the year. During the summer in Amman it is sunny with temperatures averaging in the mid-20s°c or 75°f. In the south of the country temperatures are higher in the summer and can rise to well above 30°c. It is a dry heat and is rarely unpleasant. In the spring and autumn, arguably the best time to visit Jordan, the temperatures are mild. The spring tends to be lush and green, and temperatures are around 20°C (70°F). In the winter temperatures are around 16-22°c (66-72°f), but can be cooler in higher regions like Amman. There is generally very little rainfall, and only very occasionally has it been known to snow in Amman. |
