Salaam Aleikum! Welcome to the Jordanian tourism websight. The aim of this websight is to give you some advice on what to see and do when traveling to Jordan.  The country is truly amasing and beautiful with a diverse mixture of cultural and historical sights of interest.

Many people, as one would expect, are worried about travel in the Middle East. As with all places there are risks as a tourist, however Jordan is one of the safest countries in the region and the vast majority of trips pass safely. I urge those who do plan to visit the country to check the Foreign Office travel advice, and once in Jordan it would be a sensible precaution to register with the Embassy (see Useful Contact Numbers) with a scheduled  itinerary.  There is further advice in the Culture section.
